Polaris India showcases ATVs at NDRF ceremony

ATV leader Polaris India Pvt.
Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Polaris Industries Inc., has assured its
support in partnering with the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) in
carrying relief and rescue operations.
Speaking on the occasion of
the 10th Raising Day Ceremony of the NDRF, Pankaj Dubey, Managing Director,
Polaris India noted, “Polaris stands for supporting human cause and we hope our
vehicles provide NDRF the necessary edge to undertake difficult tasks to save
and support human lives.”
Polaris India has been
partnering with the NDRF in various relief operations and its ATVs have been
providing support during disasters like Jammu and Kashmir and Kedarnath flood
relief operations. Polaris India had supported with four vehicles to assist in
relief operations.
Polaris India had also come
forward to partner with the Uttarakhand government when the state was hit by a
catastrophic flood in 2013. Polaris India had then supported with five ATVs for
the cause.
“We are present here today to
support NDRF. Polaris Off-Road Vehicles are designed especially for off-roading
and hence are a necessity for the NDRF in its relief and rescue operations.
Polaris India is always willing to extend a hand of support to help accelerate
relief operations,” said Dubey.
Polaris India on the occasion
showcased its Off-Road Vehicles, Polaris RZR S 800, Sportsman 570 and also an
Off-Road Ambulance vehicle, built on a Polaris Range 6×6 800 chassis, with the
help of Bafna Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. that has the capability of providing medical
relief and evacuate patients from areas otherwise inaccessible.
Bafna Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. is

in fabricated various Emergency Critical Care Ambulances, Mobile Clinics,
Mobile Hospitals, and Neonatal Ambulances for several Government departments,

Polaris vehicles are specially
designed to move around rough terrain including desert, sand, snow and hills
where the best of vehicles fail to run. These vehicles are built to make damage
control and rescue operations easier with their off-road capability, all-wheel
drive and huge tank capacity (water/foam). The ground clearance capacity of the
vehicles adds to the comfort by clearing obstacles and moving smoothly through
ruts and over rough terrain.
